Bumper Tamper 58 and 53 mm We really liked this tamper the very first time we saw and used it. It has a great feel, and the brushed stainless base is top quality. To keep the base looking good, a rubber tamper holder is included with each tamper. The tamper and holder are shipped to us and to you in a nice, protective box. Quality products deserve quality treatment. A lot of quality tampers look great when you first buy them, but after a short time the handles get dinged up and they are no longer very attractive. Bumper Tamper Stand and Base People have been telling us for years that they have great difficulty tamping evenly and that someone should make a stand of some kind to rest the portafilter in while tamping.
