Bumper Tamper 58 and 53 mm
We really liked this tamper the very first time we saw and used it. It has a great feel, and the brushed stainless base is top quality. To keep the base looking good, a rubber tamper holder is included with each tamper. The tamper and holder are shipped to us and to you in a nice, protective box. Quality products deserve quality treatment. A lot of quality tampers look great when you first buy them, but after a short time the handles get dinged up and they are no longer very attractive. This will not happen with the Bumper Tamper. It will look like the day you bought it for years to come. We also had Bumper custom-make their tampers to fit our popular La Spaziale Vivaldi II Dual Boiler machine in 53mm, with slightly convex base. We have all these tampers manufactured for us with a slight 1mm convex base. We find that this is a nice happy medium between flat and convex.
