*ALL Quick Mill espresso machines are manufactured with T.E.A coated boilers. This protection process drastically reduces the possibility of any leaching of metal. Want to know more about T.E.A. Click Here In addition Quick Mill uses only *Low Lead* brass components in their machines.

We started with a model Quick Mill already manufactured called the Eliane. Eliane is an excellent single boiler machine that makes exceptional quality espresso. However, we knew that with a few changes, we could make this model exceptional, all under a new name: Alexia.

Courtesy of Chris' Coffee Service, the Alexia is available with a PID controller installed. It has been updated for better performance. Note: You cannot purchase this PID controller separately.

Take a look at the list below of the changes and additions we had Quick Mill do to make the renamed Alexia espresso machine not only beautiful but also very functional and extremely reliable:

The steam arm: The previous steam arm only swung side to side. We replaced it with a swivel one and added the same two-hole steam tip found on our Anita.

The micro-switch under the water tank: We replaced it with the reliable and proven magnetic float sensor we use on the Anita and Andreja Premium. The magnetic sensor is not only very accurate and dependable but by using it, we can eliminate the springs and tray the water tank sets on. By eliminating those two items, the machine is much quieter because there is less to resonate when the pump is activated.

Resettable hi-limit: The previous fusible link has been replaced with a resettable hi-limit. In the event the hi-limit is tripped you can correct the cause and simply press down and reset the limit and you are back up and running without having to replace a fuse.

The gauge of all of the internal wire: The Eliane as a 110 volt espresso machine draws more current with the same size heating element. Therefore, we increased the wiring size so that it can easily handle the current.

The drip tray and its cover: We made it like the one we have on the Anita, Andreja Premium, and Vetrano: Large capacity, no-splash cover, and easy pull-out access.

We are the exclusive North American Importer; Distributor Inquiries are welcomed.

Excellent Machine for Espresso Drinkers August 9, 2016
Reviewer: Scott from Florida, United States
The Alexia Evo, with its PID controller, gives consistently great espresso shots  - far more consistent than I have been able to achieve with my previous heat-exchanger machine. The adjustable brew temp has allowed me to really dial-in the best flavors for the roasts I use. Some of my favorite roasts were made even better with a little variation in temperature.
The single boiler setup is less convenient for milk-based drinks, but I only brew 1-2 of those each week. Even so, the quality of those drinks has been better than what I was able to get with my heat-exchanger machine.
The finish, workmanship and ergonomics of the Alexia Evo are outstanding, and the shipping from Chris' Coffee first-rate.

The Perfect Shot Maker June 19, 2016
Reviewer: wayne ham from lake saint louis, MO United States
The machine fits nicely on our kitchen counter, along with the Mazzer Mini Electronic Doserless Espresso Grinder Type A, which we also bought from Chris’s. It is hard to make a shot that is not drinkable with this combination, be it an espresso or Americano. Both are easy to adjust and dial in shots. After getting this combination I rarely drink drip coffee anymore, as my espresso is sooooo good!

Very Happy May 3, 2016
Reviewer: Mick from Roseburg, OR United States
I purchased the Alexia Evo about six months ago and wanted to give it a long test drive before reviewing. I am very happy with this machine. It makes great espresso which is its sole daily purpose in our house. It maintains concise temperatures and the timer on the PID is very handy. I will say we had a glitch about 3 months in where the machine stopped heating up. This was very distressing to say the least. It ended up being a loose connection in the system which I wouldn't have expected with such an expensive machine but things happen. Tim at CC was very helpful and patient in helping me work through finding the problem so I could fix it at home. I would definitely recommend the Alexia and Chris Coffee for your go to java needs.

Perfect Purchase Experience March 19, 2016
Reviewer: Jeff from River Vale, NJ United States
I purchased the Alexia Evo as a replacement for an older Alexia. One morning, my older Alexia failed. I called CC and they had the Evo in stock. WedDrove 150 miles to CC and picked it up in the same day, fully tested and ready to be put into service. I did not miss a step in my espresso routine! The Evo is a really nice step up from the previous generation. It's a better design, and the built-in PID and timer is excellent. I expect to get many years from the unit.

Alexia Evo is a real star January 6, 2016
Reviewer: john from Haiku, HI United States
I upgraded from an Estro Profi which would not die. My new Alexia Evo is coupled with a Mini Mazzer modified to doserless. Quick Mill makes an excellent machine. This is a beast, the stainless steel is very heavy gauge. The shot timer is more useful than I would have imagined and I recommend this machine highly. I love it.
