Description

Most imported espresso machines come with a stainless steel braided water line to connect them to your water source. It connects to your machine easily enough; the only problem is the other end of the line is usually 3/8" female BSPP, not easily found here in the US. This brass fitting will screw right into the end of your stainless steel braided line and the other end is a US 3/8" male flare.

It works but... March 23, 2019

This product will allow you to connect your BSPP threaded supply line to your house plumbing. Points off for:
1. You will still need to go buy parts to convert from the flare fitting to standard 3/8 compression fittings. I used Everbilt adapter LFA-155 and a short water supply line (get female-female ends). Who uses flare fittings like this?
2. CC should be able to provide a water supply line using "standard" 3/8 compression fittings, either at the machine or with a water supply line made with a female 3/8 compression fitting on the supply side.

You need this item if you're trying to plumb-in a BSPP waterline in the USA.  This, along with a ridiculous number of brass fittings and adapters from Lowe's allowed me to plumb my Alex Duetto to municipal water.
