degree of fineness as well the new 2nd generation Gearbox (GB 2.0).
The Baratza Encore Grinder retains the same 40 mm hardened steel conical burrs it had with
the Maestro Plus. Conical burr grinders are exceptional at producing
consistent grinds from very fine to coarse.
2nd Generation Gearbox (GB 2.0)

strength and durability of the drive transmission while decreasing
noise. In addition to the new drive shaft, the motor mounting plate and
bushings, this change includes a new drive gear made of 15% glass
