Magnetic Water Tank Float
Magnetic Water Tank Float

Alternative Views:

Chris' Price: $10.50

Product Code: PL0980GA

This is the redesigned replacement magnetic water tank float for the Quick Mill Andreja Premium, Anita, and the Alexia.

The original float had two small issues: It would occasionally take on water if a small hole developed, which would cause the float to sink and shut off the machine, and the magnet mounted inside to the top of the float would occasionally become detached and drop to the bottom. As much as both of these were a nuisance, neither of them would ever result in any damage to the machines since all it would do is shut the machine down. The new float has a much stronger magnet and the float itself is filled with a buoyant substance, thus solving the problems.

When replacing the float, it is very important to have the X on the float facing down.

Really expensive but Worked like a charm August 7, 2016

Tech support at Chris coffee diagnosed the problem with my Andreja Premium over the email. My machine wouldn't recognize that I had a full water basin.

Replacing the floats did the trick.

I'm not sure why two small plastic pieces with magnets inside cost around $50 including shipping.

It was great that the service dept. knew how to diagnose my problem, and that they had these floats in stock.

Tim Catalfamo, the excellent and patient tech at Chris' Coffee, convinced me this part would solve my tank sensor problem, and once again, he was right. Thanks Tim!
