Calcite 10 Micron 10" Filter
This 10-micron Calcite filter is a generic 10". Simply put, it will fit any standard 10" filter housing. Several espresso machine manufacturers recommend this filter for those of you who are using an R.O. system to remove hardness from your water. This filter will add back in trace amounts of minerals to your water to prevent leaching of your copper boiler over time.
Don't make the mistake of buying a filter system that locks you into a specific brand of filter. Most name brand filters lock you into their replacement cartridges.
**NOTE**: This should ONLY be used if your calcium level is below 20 PPM after going through your R.O. system.
This leak controller is NSF approved for it's automatic ball valve shut off with manual reset dial. This will make an audible alarm sound when water is detected, and only requires 4 AA batteries to get it started.
Mavea FlowMeter 10-100A
The FlowMeter calculates residual capacity of your filter system. After the relevant filter capacity is input, the MAVEA FlowMeter will calculate the residual capacity of your filter system by recording the volumetric flow. If the filter capacity is exhausted, the capacity is displayed as negative and flashes. In addition, a timer indicates the recommended replacement of the filter cartridge by causing the residual capacity to flash after a maximum of 12 months.
