Best dual boiler in this price range January 5, 2017
Reviewer: Frank G from NY United States
I did tons of research before buying this machine. I upgraded from a heat exchanger machine and wanted a dual boiler for the temperature control.  After lots of careful consideration I picked the Vetrano 2B from Chris Coffee for the following reasons:  1) quick mill is known for quality.  2) the width of this machine compared to other dual boilers made it a better fit for my kitchen. 3) rotary pump (I love the silence now!!!!).  4) switchable between tank and plumb. 5) the recent Evo makeover added some nice touches and features not available with other machines in this price range, which makes it an excellent value.
I very extremely happy with this machine and I am making much better coffee than before.  You really can't get a better machine in this price range in my opinion. To step up from this you would need to spent 5k which is not worth it!   Thank you Makenzie for your help over the phone when I placed my order!  Chris Coffee is the best in the business!

Met all my expectations December 27, 2016
Reviewer: Peter Honig from Concord, MA United States
My criteria for a new semi-automatic espresso machine were two boilers, a rotary pump, stainless steel tanks (if possible), and a price under $3000. This left three candidates at Chris' site: Alex Duetto, Vetrano 2B, and Rocket R58, all of which have comparable functionality. Of these three I liked the Vetrano the best based on its good price, T.E.A. coated boilers, and for having the best ergonomic switch and indicator light grouping/placement. It is a beautifully made rock solid high-quality piece of equipment that has enabled me to produce the best coffee I have ever made. I truly love this machine and recommend it very highly.

Love It! December 3, 2016

After forty years of drinking coffee, I decided to take up drinking coffee as a hobby.  Bought the V2B in April 2015.  I made a spreadsheet to log shots made. To Date (12/16): 1548 shots (50.54lbs).  My shots are from 12g-17g. I roast my own coffee (Hottop). I grind my own coffee (Ceado). I weigh each shot (Gram scale). I use distilled water to back flush (Megahome). I use a TDS meter to monitor water quality. I pour over. Suggestion: Draw an overflow line in the water tank. Sales Dept is thumbs up. No repair issues to date. I think for the money, it is hard to beat. The Evo has upgrades I wish I had but in ten years, when "Sweetheart" gives out....

Vetrano 2B testing for first day November 29, 2016
Reviewer: Almamoon Justanieah from stow, OH United States
The machine looks awesome(I like the packaging thanks to Chriscoffee). You will be happy if you buy it, makes you smile. I have the 20 amp setup, heats very fast in maybe less than 10 mins so you can produce great coffee taste in short time of heating. Now I am using the tank but in couple days I will use the pump. It is better than filling up the tank every couple cup.

Pros: Back lighting, heats very fast in 20amp setup, great PID, I like how it looks. Produce great espresso(I believe it is the best).

Cons so far: Pre infusion does not work all the time(you need to keep the liver in between on and off). I did not like the way of the tank cover, It does not close all the time. Italy flag were slightly twisted. The four bottom holders looks awesome but I had issue in assembling. Steam pipe comes hot you need not to touch it after steaming.
This is my first day of testing the machine.

Vetrano Evo August 3, 2016

An excellent upgrade from my Isomac Amica which I purchased here. Shipping was great with no damage. One concern was the paper with the URL to the user guide. It was wrong and I panicked for a brief minute because I didn't want to damage the machine by doing the wrong thing. Luckily I found a good link to the documentation on my own, but I really shouldn't have had to do that. As for the machine, the espresso flavor is much more consistent than with the Amica. Frothing for lattes is great, because the milk doesn't stick to the frothing arm like it used to with the Amica. A tremendous machine!
