Andreja Premium by Quick Mill

In Stock Ready to Ship

We started with a model Quickmill already manufactured called the Andreja. Although the Andreja as it existed was, in my opinion, a better-built machine than the Isomac machines, it still wasn't what I wanted or what my customers were asking for. Take a look at the list below of the changes and additions I had Quickmill do to make the Andreja Premium machines that is now not only beautiful but also very functional and extremely reliable.

Machine is constructed out of high grade #304 food grade stainless steel.
(Several of our competitors advertise that their machines are stainless steel construction, there is a difference however between ours and theirs. All of our Quick Mill machines use only #304 food grade stainless, even the frame is constructed of the same high grade stainless. Some of our competitors machines use low grade #240 stainless steel that a magnet will stick to. This low grade stainless is not food grade and will not hold its luster like #304 and can rust over time. Last but not least many of the machines that advertise stainless steel construction, only the outer shell is made of stainless and the frame, which is the most likely if any to develop rust.)
Changed the vacuum breaker valve to the best quality one I could find.
(No vapor lock problems with this valve if you want to put your machine on a timer.)
Upgraded to a 52 Watt Ulka pump with brass ends and built-in thermal overload protection.
(Higher wattage pumps do not have to work as hard and produce less noise, brass ends won't loosen up and develop leaks like less expensive 41 watt Ulka pumps with plastic ends used in a Silvia, and thermal couple mounted on the side of the pump coil protects pump by shutting pump off if it runs too long and gets too hot end result no damage to the pump.)
Precise magnetic sensor switch controls water tank level.
(Huge improvement over out dated design that uses micro switch and spring loaded shelf. Spring loaded shelf creates a lot of vibration noise inside the machine, in addition the four posts welded to the frame of the machine will develop rust where they are spot welded. Unlike micro switches controlled by the weight of the water in the tank, a magnetic float is exremley accurate and shuts the power to the heater with the same precise amount of water inside the tank each and every time from the day you take the machine out of the box.)
Added a pump pressure gauge to the already-existing boiler pressure gauge.
(People would tell me they liked the looks of the Millenium but they wanted a pump pressure gauge so they could adjust their pump's output pressure and see the resistance exerted by their coffee.)
Resettable hi-limit to protect the heating element.
(No fusible link that has to be replaced -- just push down and it's reset.)
Premium-quality commercial-grade steam and hot water valves.
(The valves do not seat by compression and therefore don't wear out. They can also be easily repaired by replacing a couple of O-rings if needed.)
No-burn, swiveling stainless steel steam arm.
(Same as the Giotto Premium - simply put they are the best!)
Insulated the boiler.
(Keeps your kitchen cooler, no more problem with tubing lying against hot boiler and springing a leak, more energy efficient heater cycles less frequently, and most importantly keeps expensive electrical components cooler preventing failure from over heating.)
Large-capacity drip tray with new drip tray cover.
(Easy to empty, pulls out like your silverware drawer and no more water on your counter with the newly designed drip tray cover.)
Added a 20 mm diameter access port to pressure stat for easy adjustment.
(Not necessary to remove the machine cover to adjust stat.)
Had Quick Mill add an access panel directly under the heating element.
(With a vertical boiler it is very difficult to remove a heating element. Without an access hole large enough to remove the element, you would have to break all the connections and remove the entire boiler first.)
The list above is basically the differences between the Andreja and the Andreja Premium

Other features included on both machines
Available direct-connect includes everything you need.
(Well thought-out for easy install includes regulator and pressure gauge.)
Best quality expansion valve on the market today.
(Very easy to make precise adjustments; Isomacs are very sensitive to minor adjustments.)
Much easier to remove outer shell for service than many other machines.
(This was especially a problem for us with the Isomac Millenium.)
Power indicator stays on and heater lights go off when water is needed.
(Giotto gives no indication and Isomac turns the machine off completely.)
