When a customer would call us and ask, "What machine would you recommend that will last 20 years or more, with commercial build quality, and will still look good in our kitchen?" The Junior DT1 Cimbali espresso machine was the machine we would recommend hands down. The Junior DT1 has a beautiful stainless outer shell that looks great on black marble, blends in with other stainless steel appliances, and fits under standard cabinet heights of 17 3/4". The Junior DT1 espresso machine has a rotary pump, is very quiet, has programmable volumetric dosing, must be plumbed in, runs on a 15 amp 110 volt circuit, and has the ability to direct drain into the drip tray or not.

Many new features have been added to this machine, including the ability of passive pre-infusion, dual gauges, and a new three hole steam tip with smaller holes which makes it simple to produce great micro foam even when doing small quantities of milk.

It is very simple to activate pre-infusion: hold any button on the display for 2 seconds and it goes into pre-infusion mode when you make that drink. Press and release any button and it makes the shot without pre-infusion.

* All of the VST insert baskets will work in the Cimbali portafilters, except the 22 gram *

We are the exclusive North American Importer; Distributor inquiries welcome.

Starting October 9th 2011, we are extending the manufacturer's warranty one additional year FREE of charge, that gives you two years of warranty coverage.

Two-year parts and labor provided by Chris' Coffee Service, Inc.

(Free shipping in the 48 contiguous United States)

We ship your machine strapped to a small pallet and send it via common carrier (Ltl - Less than Truckload). This form of shipping is MUCH more expensive for us than UPS or FedEx, but we feel it is not only worth it but necessary. We have tried both UPS and FedEx and it simply isn't worth it; too many machines got damaged in the process of shipping. The last thing you would want is to place an order for a beautiful machine, only to have it arrive damaged.

**You will need to call the trucking company to schedule a delivery day for your machine**

Loving my new Jr. Casa April 10, 2016
Reviewer: Tony G. from Westchester, NY
I recently bought a Jr. Casa to replace an older E61 machine and I could not be happier.  It is everything I imagined it to be and more.  Everyone comments on the commercial build quality and this is without exception.  I was really vacilating back and forth on replacing it with another E61 DB PID, but figured I would test may barista skills with more of a commerical HX machine.  Once you get used to a new routine on pulling a shot, it is a breeze to work with.  The learning curve was very short and only took me maybe a week or two to learn the machine.  I am in month two right now and really feel like I have a great handle on its operation.  I am guessing it will take a bit longer to full get the most out of the Jr. Casa.  And the steaming power is AMAZING.  I have never experienced so much steaming power.  So all and all I can give this a solid review and obviously a very positive buying experience from MacKenzie at Chris' Coffee.

La Cimbali Casa November 29, 2015
Reviewer: Marek Sarba from Old Saybrook, CT United States
After years of operating my own coffee house and retiring I faced the question which espresso machine to buy for my self , machine for home, but the most “commercial” as is possible. I consulted Chris Coffee and decided to buy the brand new La Cimbali Casa. After using full one year from time of purchase, the machine works excellent, nothing different in usage than high capacities commercial machines. La Cimbali Casa enables me to make every possible espresso based coffee drink with high quality. This machine is a product for coffee connoisseur.

Exceptional Machine! August 6, 2015
Reviewer: Chris Williams from Cartersville , VA United States
I purchased this machine for home use. It is one of the best purchases I have made along my obsessive coffee journey. This is a great machine with commercial build quality, and  it cranks out great espresso shot after shot. There is tons of steam, and pre-infusion. I have my machine paired with a Mazzer Mini, and the combination is great. I couldn't be more pleased with my purchase, or the support and guidance provided by the wonderful people at Chris Coffee.

Update 08/06/2015 - Still loving this machine!  It has performed incredibly well, and each morning I am delighted by how wonderful this little machine is :)  It is one of the few purchases I have ever made that truly brings me daily satisfaction, and starts my day off well.  The negative side effect of this machine and grinder from Chris Coffee is that I now find it extremely difficult to find good coffee shops that even remotely compare to what I have now become accustomed to each morning at home.

Thanks Chris Coffee!

A Serious Machine for Great Espresso February 26, 2014
Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Washington, DC United States
I have owned three commercial machines and rewired and replumbed my house to operate them all. The Junior Casa DT1 produces great coffee and massive amounts of steam in a very small footprint. It simply is the best machine I have ever used - and that includes numerous prosumer machines as well as two and three group machines.

Before you buy this machine invest in a good water filtration and softener system and you will be well rewarded. This machine is used for our small office and so far has been great.
