Rocket Espresso’s NEW R58 Tune is a dual boiler espresso machine with dual PIDs, 3 bar fixed pressure for pre-infusion, and a plumbable rotary pump.

The Rocket Espresso R58 TUNE takes Rocket’s iconic dual-boiler platform to the next level with a refined modern design and innovative brewing technology designed to give you greater control over every shot.

At the heart of the R58 TUNE is Tune Technology, which incorporates a controlled 3-bar pressure phase during pre-infusion and a gentle pressure reduction toward the end of the extraction. This helps minimize channeling at the beginning of the shot while reducing the risk of over-extraction at the end—making it easier to achieve a balanced, flavorful espresso across a wide range of coffees.

The R58 TUNE also features a redesigned chassis with softened, rounded edges, sleek black-painted legs, and updated drip tray and cup rails for a more streamlined presence on the countertop. A removable touchscreen control pod allows you to easily monitor and adjust the temperature of both boilers, while a secondary display beneath the steam valve provides convenient shot-time monitoring.

Rocket’s new fast-heating E61 brew group helps bring the R58 TUNE to brewing temperature in as little as 15 minutes. New Push-Turn steam and hot-water controls add another level of convenience, allowing you to press for a quick burst or turn for continuous steam.

Tune Technology

The namesake feature of the R58 TUNE, Tune Technology gives you greater control over the beginning and end of each espresso extraction. It allows you to set both pre-infusion and the final ramp-down phase to a consistent 3-bar pressure, creating a three-stage extraction: pre-infusion, extraction, and final stage.

This controlled pressure profile helps promote even saturation at the start of the shot while gently reducing pressure at the end, helping to minimize channeling and over-extraction for a more balanced, refined espresso.

Push-Turn Knobs

The R58 TUNE introduces Rocket’s innovative Push-Turn knobs, designed for greater control and convenience. The dual-action design allows you to operate the steam and hot water valves in two ways: press the knob for a quick burst or turn it for continuous flow.

Simple, intuitive, and responsive, the Push-Turn knobs make everyday operation effortless while adding to the R58 TUNE’s modern, streamlined design.

PID Dual Boilers

The R58 TUNE features PID-controlled brew and steam boilers, giving you precise control over the temperature of each independently. Temperatures can be adjusted in 1° increments, allowing you to fine-tune your brewing and steaming settings for greater consistency and control.

Heated E61 Group

Rocket’s signature E61 group gets an innovative upgrade in the R58 TUNE with an integrated heating element that actively heats the group during startup. This advanced system helps bring the machine to full brewing temperature in as little as 15 minutes, so you can enjoy café-quality espresso with less waiting.
