Setting the Date and Time

Setting the clock is an easy process with the La Spaziale timer. With these instructions, we'll get our timer's date and time set appropriately prior to setting the on and off schedule.

With the 'OK' button confirm the clock mode. The following message is shown on the display when selected.

On the top line: Day

On the bottom line: Monday (flashing)

With the up and down arrow buttons select the day of the week and confirm with the 'OK' button.

Repeat this same process for the month, day, and year as well.

After you've set the date, the top line of the display will read 'Time' with the bottom line reading '12:00 am' with the hour digit flashing. Using the up and down arrow button select the hour, then confirm your selection with the 'OK' button. Repeat this process to set the minutes of the time.

Once the display changes, you'll need to now set the 'Summerti' or daylight savings time. On the bottom line of the display, you'll see 'NO - YES' with yes flashing. Using the up and down arrow buttons select:

YES: Change to daylight savings time on the last Sunday of March at 02:00 am and change back to standard time on the last Sunday of October at 03:00 am.

NO: No change to summer time (DST) occurs. Remember that this is the recommended setting.

Setting the Timer

Turning the Timer On or Off

Setting the timer 'Timer Slectio' mode is where you'll choose the times and days of the week you'd like your Vivaldi or Mini Vivaldi to turn on and off. It is a very similar process as above.

With 'Timer' displayed on the top line of your La Spaziale timer's display and 'OFF - ON' with 'ON' flashing use the up and down arrow buttons to select:

OFF: If you want to disable the use of the timer function to turn your machine on and off.

ON: If you want to enable the timer to turn the machine on and off at the programmed times.

Once your selection is flashing, use the 'OK' button to confirm your selection.

Setting the Times it Automatically Turns On and Off

To set the first time that the machine will turn on at you'll see 'Monday' flashing on the top line of the display. On the bottom line, you just see a number of dashes.

With the up and down arrows, select the day and then confirm with the 'OK' button. The selected day becomes fixed and abbreviated followed by a message like:

Mon 1 ON
12:00am (first two digits, hours, flashing)
With the up and down arrow buttons again select the hour you'd like the machine to turn on and confirm with the 'OK' button.
Now that you have set the hour that you'd like the machine to turn on. Choose the minute of that hour in the same way. Confirm your selection with the 'OK' button.
You now have set the time that you'd like the machine to turn on. After this operation has been completed, 'Mon 1 ON' on the first line of the display becomes 'Mon 1 OFF'. Repeat the process above for setting the hour and minute.

Using the Same Setting for Another Day

If you want to copy the setting made the previous day, press the 'OK' button, and hold for three seconds when you get to the day. If you wish to copy a single day's schedule such as Mondays all the way through Friday, for example, press and hold the 'OK' button again for 3-seconds as you cycle through each day.

If you would like to just move to the next day to set-up a schedule different than that just programmed, momentarily press the 'OK' button. You can then program the next and subsequent days for up to three different on and off time just as the Monday example described above.
